Hi,
I think I met one of you guys at RB on Sunday....(I drive a gray Elise with black racing stripes.)
I was on the way back from Highland Valley Road (whcih is my Sunday practice road) and found an Silver Elise parked at the parking lot.
I was in hurry for 9am appointment, but I should have introduced myself.(Please forgive my impoliteness!)

Ray, that was me.

I was a bit surprised to see you drive off, but I did deduce that it was coincidental.

As it turned out I was alone last Sunday. No other Elises showed. I did about 140 miles.

Sorry I missed it too. I was on vacation again, and the car was in the shop anyway.

Anyone for next Sunday? (8/27) I don't think my wife has anything scheduled for me yet.

I think we're pretty much all going to Irvine to go Karting at K1. We'll be meeting at the Starbucks in Carlsbad by the outlet mall at 8:30, leaving there at 9am promptly. Come along if you'd like!

awesome, finally ill be able to take my elise through some nice canyon roads.. ill be there at the mall near the albertsons at 8. leaving from mission valley area so ill be leaving in about half an hour.

ill check ET before i leave to make sure everything still is up.. its foggy down here, but should clear up today.. hope to meet you guys later today.

Ray, elude and I had a nice long drive today.
Highland Valley road heading east -> 67 east (Ramona) -> Old Julian Hwy -> 78 east
Break in Santa Isabel
-> Wynola Road -> 78 east (past Julian) -> Yaqui Pass Road -> Borrego Springs ->
S22 west (no traffic up the grade!!)-> S2 west -> 79 south -> 76 west -> Mesa Grande Road -> 79 south
Break in Santa Isabel
78 west -> Old Julian Hwy -> Ramona - 78/67 west.
I stopped at home in Ramona. Ray and elude went home via Highland Valley Road.

We had very little traffic on all the twisty stuff east of Santa Ysabel.

Yeah, it was a nice drive(I guess it should be even nicer in autumn.). Chris, thanks for the great navigation!
How many miles did we today??

I love to, but can't make it this weekend. Have to take care of my son. Next week i will run at the SCCA's autocross event(9/10).
