Cool, I will also be there this year Wed-Fri. We have to consult on which are the best parties to get passes to.

Agreed. They always have the best party - and some cool looking VIP passes usually.

Back on topic - what about repositioning my antenna? Is it possible to move it for better reception (at this mod event)?

So we are going to do the MOD day on Nov. 22.
Since some of you are going to SEMA we don't want to conflict with this event, and also, some of you guys can come back with some great ideas from SEMA to bring to us.

I agree with EB Turbo...we don't want to do any significant mods. that will conflict with our sponsor(s). So we will keep the mods. simple. So let's hear some more ideas for mods...get creative.

Anyone familiar with HID's? I have them installed (they were there when I bought the car), but one side isn't working.

Have you thought about switching back to the H7? from what I've seem the factory projector doesn't take kindly to HID's. just a suggestion.

Or.....Rob T you and FLuXeXigeS can talk about the problem in person and have your Lotus there at the Diamond Bar meet and see if anything could be done on mod day @ DRS.

Crap... I'm leaving for Chicago later that day. If you guys can help a brother out early and get me on the road quickly, I'm totally down.

The shifter mod sounds real good, as well as the engine dampers...

Any thoughts on HID headlight installs? I have a set but have been a bit timid about putting my set in.

Correct. Halogen bulbs throw light completely differently from HID bulbs. The focal point is WAY off. I had HID bulbs in my car with the stock projectors and wasn't very happy - now I have HID PROJECTORS in the car and it's a different experience. Allen Strommer designed them and had them fabricated, and they're fantastic.

To my knowledge there is not a fix for this. There is a fix to extend the range of your alarm, but I don't believe anyone has said it improves radio reception.

Has anyone heard differently?

Ya, alarm and radio are two separate antennae. Never heard of improving the radio antenna. If it is the radio, you may want to pull the wheel well liners and make sure one of the ends didn't fall down (taped), or make certain it's attached to the back of your head unit.

Is there anyway to still purchase the projectors, since LBH is no longer in business.
