If a headquarters has not been picked yet, may I put fourth the Red Rock Casino as a possible candidate.
Great rooms, reasonably priced, way off the strip so no traffic, close to the Red Rock Canyon park- beautiful scenery, closer to Spring mountain motorsports ranch, HUGE open parking lot right in front for an autoX, and has lots of restaurants and other activities on the premises.
I just spent a week and a half there for work, and it pretty nice as casinos go

I second this...Red Rock is a 5 star hotel with super nice facilities, much cheaper than the strip, and lots of open parking.
We have held the Mfest there (200+ Bimmers), and service and accomodations are superb.

It is a bit closer than the strip which is 1 hr. from Pahrump where Spring Mtn is located - this is the best track in the southwest.

Lol. Well, this time I won't be quite so overconfident, so I might actually make it on time (ie, I might actually carry and use a map with me)! Besides, my wife will probably be riding in the car with me (last time, she flew), and is not likely to accept my 'I don't need to stop for directions' attitude!

+1 on Red Rock! Great place

Stayed there two weekends ago. There was also a lot that they parked a few RVs on that would be perfect for an autocross. Huge lot no parking lights and was not really being used at all.

I will definitely be there. Now I just need to find some way to sneak into SEMA for a day - do all attendees have to have a exhibitor pass or can you just buy tickets?

You can't buy tickets. Trade only. We can talk.

I was giving it some thought....but we get snow and ice here in Oct...November. I doubt we could make the trip without hitting ice and salt. That is something I will not do in the Elise or the Seven.

Now...early Oct...yah...I might consider that.

Which configuration? Are you running with another group? Are you going to have timing ? Will there be corner workers and emt?
