Curious minds want to know.
Configuration: TBD
Planned to be Lotus only (assuming we get enough entrants)
Timing: No, this is a track day for fun. Restricted passing rules will be in effect.
Safety (Corner workers, EMT, Tow, etc): by definition

Cheers,
Kiyoshi

Cory emailed me and you are running the radical loop which is the 1.5 mile track . Since its not a competitive event ,check with the track on the requirements for emt and corner workers. I have run there many times without either. Depending on the number of entrants I would prefer to have both but it can become expensive.

So, is the 1.5 mi radical track the "west" track? That's the one we used for the Lotus driving school. It was lots of fun.

Same weekend. The WCLM track day is in conjunction with LCS.

2010 is available... anyone?

But, for 2009 it's in Vegas and the members of the LCCSN are planning what will be an amazing event. Yes, it's a drive, but it can be done in a day. 9-10 hrs from the Bay Area; 5-6 from LA; 4-5 from Phoenix...

Cheers,
Kiyoshi

It takes a ton of work to plan one of these events, so props to the Nevada club for stepping forward to host it!

Half the fun of the trip is getting to drive to a relatively nearby location and driving roads you don't get to see very often. I believe SD and LA were in contention in years past, but they were not selected for a variety of reasons.

If it is combined with the LCS, there will definitely be at least 25 of us that will be at Spring Mountain.

I plan on attending! When there are more details please update us. Like prices, rules, whatever. I'd like to start my planning! This will be like a normal trackday right? All I'll need is an auto helmet? I currently use a motorcycle helmet with Speed Ventures but I am aware that they are probably the only club that lets you do that, so I'll be shopping for a helmet! Is that all I will need?
