NJMP Thunderbolt
I'll be there, not taking my Lotus though. Great track. I believe SurferJer will be there too.
For a helmet, go to SafeRacer - Auto Racing Safety Equipment, Auto Racing Gear, Auto Racing Helmets, Auto Racing Suits. They have some on clearance for ~$150. Be sure you buy one that is SA2000 (or preferably SA2005), do not buy an M rated helmet. -AJ- 163 Spec Miata |

Thunderbolt
I am going on Wed, Oct 15 and I will post a turn by turn analysis that evening, possibly with video if my new gopro hero cam works out. I have searched for a turn by turn analysis but have not found one anywhere, although I have been studying video from BMWCCA. I'll probably post it on Trackepedia, too.

If you are a NJ BMWCCA member, the Sept edition of the NJ chapter bulletin has a turn by turn analysis of Thunderbolt on pg 7.
Also, the GoPro Hero cam drains battery like there is no tomorrow. Make sure you use a fully charged set for every session.
