In the UK at least the Sprite was an Austin Healey, not an MG. Although I think the two cars shared a platform. A lot of owners manuels etc. tend to be for 'Austin Healey Sprite & MG Midget', as if they are the same underneath.
I guess it doesn't matter, lol ![]()

The early "bug eyed" Sprite (I believe it was called "frog eyed" across the pond), was different than the later Austin Healey Sprite. The later Austin Healey Sprites and the MG Midget were pretty much the same car (except for the badges). Those ones (as pictured) are often referred to as a "Spridget" by many people...
