Apparently I am the NNJR SS Champion? - LotusTalk

Look what arrived at my office today anonymously. I have a feeling Exarkun is up to his tricks again. I like the green, but not sure where I am going to put this 6' tall trophy!

Yes, I did have the top number of points to be the champion but unfortunately I did not attend enough events for it to be official. So there was no official SCCA SS Champion named for Northern NJ.

So Fess up - I wanna know who all was involved in this? My assistant called me out of my office - looked at me and just said, "Seriously?".

In any case - Thanks! And hopefully next year I will get the real trophy.

Well, it wasn't me. Musta been Sean since he was always bustin' your chops.

I can only imagine what you've already done with the trophy. I could picture you driving at 10mph around your neighborhood, waving your hands with the top off and a 6' trophy sticking out, while doing parade laps celebrating your victory.

Exarkun - maybe you should tell me why it tapers at the bottom?

I'm pretty sure Sean had nothing to do with it. But it would have been very funny if Sean had gotten a 2nd place trophy. That would have just made my day!

I think this trophy is going to become the season champ trophy for those of us that compete together. At the end of each season the winner gets the trophy until the end of the next season.

Which most likely means we won't have to change the plaque with my name on it - Right Anonymous?
