No, but I doubt that a cone could cause enough damage that a fiberglass patch can't fix it.

If it happens, you should ask the person patching/fixing it to reinforce the clam if possible as well.

No, and I hit cones dead on sometimes. Just scuffs in the starshield.

At my 4th track event I went off into the dirt at BW and messed up my front clam...not auto x but still messed up my clam

I've hit dead on too at decent speed and nothing. Although, I've never gone on a cold day, so the cones are pretty soft and almost melting.
