Good luck at 08 National!
Just want to wish you guys good luck at Kansas this year in SS, ASP and XP. Show them what the Elise/Exige can do.
It would be great fun to run with some of the greatest competitors in SS (also my EVO instructors) at National this year, especially running on Thur/Fri, but I just couldn't make it work. Hopefully next year!

I could not go this year, perhaps and most likely the last year at Heartland Park. Eat steak, enjoy Baby Dolls' lap dances, eat at Pats Pig and bring home a trophy.

Some interesting results from Day of the ProSolo competition. Very rainy which favors the Elise.
Jason Uyeda in my old car, is winning ASP. Gary Thomason leaped into an Elise (same car as being driven by Matthew Braun) and is now leading over Matthew who is in 2nd place. Interesting part of the deal is Gary is on Hoosiers instead of Kumhos. Friday's results http://scca.com/documents/resultfile...reliminary.pdf

It could be considered that someone would not lend out a car to someone that could beat them. But I think Matt (and most top level drivers) are not like that. They look for good competition.
In this case, you have two insanely gifted drivers, in the same car.

No kidding. I didn't think Gary had any interest at all in driving an Elise. I thought he was campaigning the Porsche. Especially after the review he gave in some magazine. Where he like the Viper best.

What happened (straight from Gary's mouth) is Gary didn't have rain tires, and Matthew and him were going back and forth about who had the better car. Matthew thought the GT3 was better, g\Gary the Elise.
Don, the car owner, had no problem with Gary in the car, apparently, so the battle was on. It was fun to work course while SS was running! They are both amazing and went 1-2. Pat was right behind in 3rd, so an ERlise podium sweep! ![]()
