Heat Cycle V710

I have just bought a set of V710 for my Elise, 215x45 16, 245x40 17 I was not able to get them heat cycled so plan on doing it myself. Any tips would be much appreciated.

I have heard that the tires need to be bought up to temp and them removed from the car and cooled for 24/48 hrs.

My thoughts are this:

I plan to put them on the car drive the 10 miles to the track use them for 8 runs them bring them home and remove them, will this work or will they have cooled down to much during the lunch break?
