SCCA legal Supercharger. Will it ever happen?

Do any of the current supercharger dealers ever plan to offer a SCCA legal kit?

Has anyone made a grocery list for the parts it would take?

I doubt there's enough of a market in that. Even as a regular autocrosser, I know I'll never be competitive enough for my class to matter, and I think most autocrossers are in that boat.

Robert of Lotus Garage and I did this for a few folks. Not really for money, but for the love of the Lotus and love of the marque. Unfortunately Lotus got wise and raised the price of their blower assembly from $2500 to $7500. With other parts the total hits $11k or so. Then add the EFI, custom IC etc, proper custom wheels, good shocks etc. Plan to spend $25k to make the car nationally competitive. However with a BWR blower you can compete against me in XP

Right. My car was the first. But one could still do it. All the information is there to get it done. Just a bit expensive.

I have some docs we had written up to cover the conversion. Pics too. Parts lists.

That is a sucker bet! Congrats on your win at nationals. I am a blackwatch customer BTW!

Thanks for the info. I am sure the community appreciated hearing this from the folks who know.
