The prices seem very reasonable, but I do all my own fluids so I can't directly compare.
I can say that $100 for an alignment is very cheap. So cheap that it seems like a Firestone or other tire shop price as opposed to a suspension specialist.
$100 alignment is actually from West End Alignment in Gardena CA.. very well known for track and race cars.. knowledgeable guy, top notch work, old school methods with strings, weights, none of that “if its in the green, its good” bs
Since no one answered with actual experience, I'll say what I would expect. I'd expect 1-2hr labor on the literal installation of the coilovers, but then you also would need to pay for ride height, corner balance, and alignment. With new coil overs, it will take longer than if you were just tweaking an existing setup. 3-4 hours? Kinda depends on if its a race shop with strings or if they have electronic equipment. If labor rate is $125/hr, you can do the math.
If you are looking for maintenance in SoCal, Harry at A1 is very reasonable, but more importantly, they know what they are doing and have fantastic customer service.
I'm torn. I have no idea why you'd spend money on coilovers and not set them up to perform their best (which includes a corner balance), but the practical side of me thinks that most people driving on the street would have a hard time differentiating.
Harry or Jack. I think Jack is doing more of the Lotus stuff at the shop in Alhambra, there are always 3-4 Loti there. Either way great place.
