Heading back to the normal roads...

Hey guys,

Looks like I'll be transferring back out to the PacNorWest again in July. Looking forward to being able to drive 11 out of 12 months (currently in NY...you can have these frickin roads. Salt, potholes and general crappiness). At any rate, hopefully I'll run into some old friends at the next ABFM.

Welcome back.

What part of the PNW are you coming back to?

Back to Bangor, WA. It's across the sound from Seattle. But I do love to hit Portland for some Voodoo donuts and good beer. You guys have no idea how expensive NY is for brew. Dead Guy Ale is over $14.00 for a sixer.

Welcome back

If I die, my biggest fear is that my wife sells all my toys for the price I told her I bought them for...

It was a pleasure meeting at the Porsche C&C. I felt such a heartache about your motor cycle {Royal Enfield?} and Elise getting damaged. All the best in your next mission.

Cheers,
Robert

Thanks Robert. I am currently trying to get the car back together in time for the move. it gets back from paint next week, and then I have about a week to get it all back together before transport. Not quite what I had in mind! As for the Enfield...she's a hardy old girl. No frame damage and I was able to source the damaged parts, so once I get out there, I should be able to put her back together again. It was a pleasure meeting another Lotus/Spitfire buff. I'll hopefully make it out to another C&C to say goodbye to everyone before I leave.

Welcome back! that location always reminds me of a quote form a friend of mine...... Halloween party at my house, he's dressed in Whites Uniform. As he's leaving with his date we ask where they are going. He replies. To Bangor (Bang-her) of course!
Good luck with your reloc.

Thanks Lckitty. I'll probably be out your way shortly after I get there. Rogue brewery is still in Issaquah, right? Hopefully my car will be back from paint this week so I can reassemble her in time for transport. Nothing like cutting it close!

We've got a new Elise LT member from Saint Louis in town too. Maybe we can meet up for a beer at Rogue.
