Garage
which organization or link to the event?

got prior engagements, but I've been shying away from pocono after I got absolutely spanked running IMSA in may.

the sight of a stock audi a4 pulling away was demoralizing
(if you have ANY track experience and run with the audi club, just make sure you dont start in lower intermediate, I was stuck behind lots of newbies who didnt point me by and I didn't get to enjoy the corners at all. I did get bumped up, and it was much better, but lower intermediate was butts)

I am runnign with Connecticut Autocross Rally Team. CartCT.com. good guys and reasonably priced. I have been on the track. I Run intermediate. Newbies get scared when I pull up behind them and point me by. Little lotus is intimidating.

How does their format work? I see it is some sort of time trial/relay team exercise and not your normal 4-5 session HPDE event. What kind of seat time can be expected?

Its a standard session event for the most part until the last hour. I typically get like 1.5 hours of seat time which is almost as much as I can handle

I payed for the event online through Paypal but it doesn't look like they have an online registration system. Do you have to snail mail then the reg form? Not a lot of time left to mail it in...

I received confirmation this morning from the club. We are staying at the best western in blakeslee. I think most of the group is there.

Ziker,
Do you know if there will be race fuel available for purchase at Pocono during the event? The track doesn't always have the pumps available....

Thanks for coming out mike! Sorry things didnt work out. I ended up running a 1:02.26. Not bad for stock suspension I think. I smell upgrades coming.

Of the four complete laps I did I managed, (near as I could measure from video)
1- 1:07
2- :59
3- 1:00
4- :59

I'm sure there were another 2-3 seconds to be found if I could have continued.

Good to meet you, maybe we will see you out there again sometime.
