Lotus offers new Luxury option?

http://www.leftlanenews.com/lotus-eu...ck-option.html

After looking at the above article, I am struck by the fact that the Europa interior they are showing is a Left Hand Drive. Not a follower of the Europa, what percentage of them are produced as LHD's?

Not sure what percentage but LHD drive makes sense considering the car is sold throughout Europe and in many other LHD jurisdictions. The leather dash etc looks pretty good though.

i always wondered what happens when you're driving in Europe and you switch from a place that's right hand drive to left hand drive. I'm picturing an 'x' shaped road. That could make things interesting, eh?

You have to cross the English Channel for that to happen.

A few years ago, I represented the Ministry of Roads and Transport in Ghana, and used to go to Accra on a regular basis. They set up a guest office for me, and hanging on the wall of the office was a plaque celebrating the day on which Ghana switched from driving on the left to driving on the right. I think it was in the early 1980s. I sort of wish I had lifted that plaque and taken it home!

Its just like that going from Thailand (RHD) to Laos (LHD). There is a bridge on the way from Nong Khai to Vientianne over the Mekong river, which is the border. Basically there are traffic lights on both ends of the bridge with a big X shaped road in the middle! I forgot to take a photo when I was there

Yes, but you can't drive through it. You put your car on the train.
