Type 72 Exige S

The Type 72 Exige S celebrates the classic Type 72 Formula 1 car, various iterations of which achieved 20 Grand Prix victories between 1970 and 1974 while driven by such Lotus greats as Jochen Rindt, Emerson Fittipaldi, Ronnie Peterson and Mario Andretti.

Based on the Exige S this special edition features Sport Pack, bespoke interior trim, gold detail exterior paintwork and unique forged wheels for an MRSP of £35,995.

To commemorate this illustrious list of Grand Prix wins, Lotus will be producing 20 of this special edition vehicle for the UK, with orders to be accepted on a first come first served basis.

Basic specification details for this vehicle are as follows:
•Exige S

•Sport Pack

•Unique Machined Forged Wheels in Black and Gold

•Build plate, uniquely featuring the date of a GP win and venue

•Trim Upgrade (featuring full-leather interior with contrast stitching)

•Phantom Black base colour with gold details on the exterior paintwork, including:
◦Piping around front splitter, side pods, spoiler end plates and front access panels
◦Gold painted Exige S logo on rear of vehicle
◦Gold painted Type 72 logo on rear three-quarter panel behind passenger window
Additional cost options include the following, all at standard pricing:
•Air Conditioning

•Performance Pack

•Limited Slip Diff
