WE ARE GREEN

YAHOO NEWS has a list of the 100 most green cars.

http://autos.yahoo.com/green_center-...FiLXRvcDEwMA--

The Elise is #42. I purchased a sports car and got a green car to boot!

Is a green car a girlie car? [Miata was #43.] I really don't care, but just love to drive my Elise.

Exige S at 50... not too bad. I guess I'm now officially a tree hugger

I just told my wife this news who is very green and not a fan of my Lotus thinking I would -finally- get a nod of approval. She simply replies, "it looks like there's 41 better choices." Sometimes I feel like I just can't win

Best,

Phil

Check this out

Per my last post, my wife just emailed me again after thinking this through another minute:

"Freaking SUVs and mini van looking creatures scored higher and get better mileage. I demand to see what gained them these “green” ranks, from what I can tell it’s all about the mpg…you gotta have a gauge I guess.

SO if I understand the facts you just volunteered to me, we (YOU) paid 2-3 times more for your car and get half the mileage of the ones at the top of the list? Am I missing something.? Have you intended to “fuel” my fire!

Freaking mini coopers look better all the time. I thought they cost more though. Time to roll you over into a tin can cooper I guess. Can’t wait to see what your friends say about you then.

I sure wouldn’t be so freaked out by all the mods you are always wanting to do if we simply started out with a 18k toy vs a 43k toy. Do you understand any of my logic? Why am I the one you are always calling CRAZY! "

Do I have it good or what Luckily she didn't realize 43K was -just- the base Elise. Does everyone have to deal with this insanity at home or is just me

Best,

Phil

Yip, in that order and no offense taken my friend. I have a hard time making heads or tails of just about everything she says
