1973 Lotus Europa needs new home with TLC

Disabled by broken left front suspension, broken water pump, rusted gas tanks, and many other faults. I have to move from Annapolis, Maryland, to North Carolina and I have no way to bring it with me. It has a four-speed transmission, but I also have a five-speed gearbox and shift linkage. I bought it in 1975 from first owner and have not had time to work on it for years after the water pump went up. It has been outside for much of its life and has since deteriorated. I cannot bring myself to junk it and I am hoping to find someone who has the time, energy and money to restore this beautiful piece of Lotus history. Waiting for your call to 410-212-7626 with best offer.

interested

can you send some pictures to better estomate what would need to be done? What color is it, how many miles, interior condition, what type of rims, etc

Thanks. I had a 1972 Europa Twin Cam that I bought new from Lotus in 1972 and kept for 23 years. I have taken Europas apart and put them back together again, including engines. Just ned to figure out how much work and what parts I would have to source

Pics please! Sounds like you’d almost give it away. Bring it with you to NC, you can store it in my garage😁

Are you connected at all with the DC Chapter of Lotus Ltd (members of which are in the Annapolis area)?

These guys' interest in Lotus goes beyond the current cars, the chapter is Lotus Ltd's original. I'd be surprised if one of those guys wouldn't want to take the car off your hands.
