Anyone in NC vicinity know the Kent engine and the Seven?

Bought a '62 Seven with a freshly built Kent Crossflow. The engine was done awhile back and just fitted in the car when the restoration was done.
It needs some sorting before I put miles on the car.....I was wondering if there was anyone in the NC vicinity that knows the Kent Crossflow and the Seven?

I know a shop near Mooresville that has done a lot with older Lotus, including Europas. I don't know much beyond that, but I can pass along your contact info to see if he can help.

I know a really good mechanic in Asheville area with experience.

Would this be good for you?

Edit:

Assuming you want to bring the car to someone to do the work - then yes, Brian. 614 563 3714 [email protected]. Hendersonville.

I have a good engine builder there too.

I know a bit about the early Sevens. Crossflows are not my thing. Any FF shop should be able to help with the engine. Newport News, VA

It is a recently finished nut and bolt by Tony Ingram of Lotus7.com. .....Bob Yarwood did the engine but it sat for awhile prior to going into car. Tony when he finished the car did not check out the engine (as the then owner was trying to save $$ and it was a zero hour brand new rebuild).
When I got it, it was double filled with oil.....crazy story on that one how I figured that out! The oil pan bolts were not even finger tight....
I have fixed those items but I would love someone that knows the car and motor to look at it prior to me putting miles on it.
There is oil coming out of the oil filler cap....it might be that the rings are not seeded.....maybe the breather filler cap is not working well.....
