Yeah, you'd get it if you got some seat time in one!

I think I saw this beautiful machine at LOG. I never really "got" Europa until I looked at all those beautiful machines. I also saw the actual ethos of LOTUS in all the models. It was very cool to see all the history. I saw where my Exige fits in the LOTUS firmament.

Nice. I have the same car and love it! Do you know where the Lucas DB10 relay pack is located?

C'mon guys. That's a Type 1 or 2 Europa in JPS livery. Looks like at least the rear suspension is quite modified.

VIN number? More pics, esp the interior and engine? This is likely a Renault motor or some conversion, not a Ford Twin Cam.

Certainly a fine machine well worth having. But not a Twin Cam Special. No better, no worse. Just different.

And 3841R is not a true "numbered car", but was repainted in the JPS livery about 1984.

Edit: as it now says in my signature, DocJay has her in his collection now. We're down to just the one Elise, currently a track only setup. Having this Europa was a great chapter in the course of my life.

Asheville, just a few miles from LOG 35 site. I believe we were the only ones who had three cars there. Other than any commercial guys.

Well spotted. Nothing gets by you guys. It's a 1970 S2 and yes it's my rendition of JPS and it is highly modified we a Spyder chassis. Here's the engine - yes a R17 Gordini modified with high cam-shaft, twin weber DCOE-40 carbs, electronic ignition, electronic fuel pumps etc. Has a five speed Gordini tranny hooked to it.
