Thanks for posting. I am the Caterham dealer located just outside Buffalo NY. Great to see they are doing things like this. If anyone is interested, price for a kit starts at $32,999.

They are awesome cars. I have 2 friends who have one. One has a 2008 w/ the Ford focus turbo engine, the other has an older Birkin. When I am tired of the Elise I will likely get one. Cheers!!

I have had mine since 1993. The Elise is great, and so is the Caterham. They are very similar in the smiles per mile dept.

On the Sunday morning LOONY drives, I have a difficult time deciding which one I am going to take. Usually determined by the weather or who my passenger is.

I am not trying to sound like a commercial here, but NOW is the time to buy with the pound where it is.

I've had both too - loved both - and paraphrasing Jay Leno "which of your children do you prefer" would still have both if I had the garage space. They are similar in the smiles per mile department but different too... if I had enough garage space (and funds) I think I'd have a Caterham, S1 Exige, S2 111S, and an Exige Roadster - all have the same purpose but they just do it differently enough that all variants are necessary in a complete collection (and all are road legal in Australia )

I would trade my elise for my old caterham back -- but living in SF and as a DD, the elise has to stay for the moment. When I lived in Cambridge (UK), the caterham was my only car for nearly 4 years -- rain, ice, or snow, always fun. And soooo easy to work on.

I think we have the same taste exept for one little difference, which I corrected for you
A seven kit car owned by a friend of mine 25 years ago (which I only got to ride as a passenger) was what sparked my interest in Lotus.
If I had the funds, my next fun car would be a Caterham no doubt!

So I remade the design in Illustrator for the Elise (text quirkiness is from JPEG export).
I wonder if I could sell enough of them to make it worth it...? There's a minimum of 50 stickers from the printer I would like to use.
Probably would have to be about $3 shipped per sticker to pencil (6"x3" sticker size).

Awesome! You should start a separate thread to see if there is enough interest in a group buy.
Also, any Idea where a 6x3 sticker would fit best in the car?

Problem is, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do a group buy since I'm not a site sponsor...

The sticker could fit on the airbag cover, if you want to be very obvious with it. I think it would also be just the right size to put in the back of the metal "cubby" above the passenger footwell.
And it would look great on your tool chest.
