We used to have a Vette like your yellow one, but Carolina blue with white cutouts. Hard car to drive. Big chromed motor, no power steering. But unbeatable look at a stoplight. Even today.

I'm entertaining the idea of selling my Europa, it sits covered in the garage on a lift and I'm busier than ever with work, life, etc. Anyone on the forum up-to-date on the value of these cars before I start looking around online? Appreciate any advice.

Will be interesting to see. Seems they are going up in value lately.

I think one like yours ought to bring $30,000 but in reality $20,000 might be the upper end.

Fine example, GLWS.

My guess is that $20k is probably the upper limit these days. It's unfortunate, as Elans cost about the same to restore as Europas, but easily bring 50 - 100% more. This was one of the reasons I restored an Elan years ago vs. Europa, even though I like them both.

Another factor might be the non-stock mods could put some potential buyers off. Even though they look VERY well done and I would enjoy owning it, the market is larger for mostly stock vehicles.

There was a really nice Europa TC for sale on this forum that had a Zetec conversion a while back. It looked stock for the most part, but did have the very desirable (in my opinion) Zetec conversion. I think it stayed on the market for a long time before it finally sold. Go figure.

Last ride of the season this past Saturday, then home to be winterized and put up on a lift for storage. Just in time it snowed Sunday morning! Hope all you warm weather Lotus fans enjoy your cars between now and spring.

It's a streamer on the locking pin for the Halon system in engine bay. The padded bar behind the seats is installed to hold the racing harnesses.
