almost ready

My daily drivers for past several years have been, MG TC, TD a Magnette and a MGB so I have the British car driving experience, just no Lotus.....yet.

How difficult is it to find a Gordini head? and how much would it improve the Renualt engine??
Thanks for the feedback

How much money? Juxtapose that with how much ass it hauls! Now, again, is it worth the money? Inquiring minds want to know!

We owned our Europa twice. A great life experience, each time. Loved it like no other car.

Every time I got in that wonderful perfect interior, I felt like I had never driven a manual in my life. Pulling off smoothly in front of people reminded me of High School. Laying in the floorboards to work under the dash (fashia panel) is something everyone should experience. A couple of times I really wondered if I would get out or be found there starved and shriveled.

It was comforting in traffic to know that in a collision my body would collapse to protect the chassis.

Twin cam! Parts are more abundant.

The federal wedge engine Renault 1565cc are a little more difficult to find parts for .

Third , a modified 843 hemi head engine . Needs cam rework.

Lastly a Ford Focus motor but that needs a twin cam bellhousing

A lot of information on lotuseuropa.org
Glad your interested in a Europa.
