Europa S2 Build

Good evening gentlemen,

I recently purchased an Europa S2. From what I can tell so far it's a solid car. Going to begin planning the car out over the next few weeks. Looking at what my engine, transmissions, brakes, clutches, options are. I know I want an aftermarket supported 4 cylinder with fuel injection. Other than that I'm not so sure. Looks like maybe a 4age Toyota engine might have an available adapter plate to the current transmission. That would be cool.

Anyhow I guess I've taken the first step on a long journey. Some photos of the tow home and lowering into the driveway:

I'm also looking forward to progress reports from a new owner and more pictures.

As a long time and current Europa owner, I wouldn't even think about swapping engines until you get the rest of the car sorted out and in running condition. Working through the brakes, cooling, and electrics will be time consuming enough. Once you get it on the road, drive it for awhile before thinking about a engine swap.

In case you weren't aware, there are two other Europa specific forums for owners. Both are active and have many long time owners with more knowledge than I have.
