Alpine CDA-117 volume is super low

Hi there - so as part of my project I bought a wrecked Exige from another owner on here (see thread in my signature.) I've stripped out nearly all of the extra audio stuff that the previous owner installed but wanted to keep the speakers and head unit. I wired up a new harness following these instructions and went to test it out in my Elise.

(The Exige is all torn apart otherwise I'd test it there.)

Anyway, I can hear audio but even on full volume it's barely audible.

Any idea what's going on? This was a direct swap of the Blauplaunkt stereo in my Elise for the Alpine CDA-117, with all of the OEM speakers.

I feel like it's just not driving enough power to the speakers or something, but I'm not an audio guy and not sure what settings I might need to change on the head unit.

Actually, just figured it out.

There are 3 toggle switches on the bottom of the head unit which need to be set to the "NORM" position. Given that this was previously in a car equipped with a fancy C.A.R.S. system, they had been toggled to their other setting.
