Question calculate resistor values?

Need help from you electrical geniuses. I bought a new interior switch for my LED light bar that matches the OEM headlight switch. The specifications of the switch are below. Note the bottom where a formula is given to calculate the resistor needed.

I did this but have no idea what to do with the number? Which by my math is 1.

Supply Voltage is 12V
LED Forward voltage = 2V
LED Forward current = 10ma

Resistor value = 12-2 / 10 = 1

Please help me, Feeling really stupid right now.

V=IR
so: R=V/I
R=12V/10mA
R=1200 ohms

R=(12-2)V/.01A= 10V*100A= 1000 ohms
