fellow socal owners - I NEED URGENT HELP (gauge cluster problem)

Hello all fellow lotus owners,

i'm stuck in a huge dilemma, I have a track day coming up next saturday, as I was prepping my car last night, I noticed my gauge cluster is dead ... rpm, speed, fuel and temp does not work (all else seems to be working).

I did tons of research here and I did everything from checking connectors to cluster, connectors to ecu, connector pins, possible loose wires, wiggling wires around, took apart the cluster, etc

nothing is working so i'm thinking it's the cluster itself, is there any so-cal owners that has an 06 elise cluster lying around that
1.) I can drive to you, plug it up to see if it's truly the cluster or not and
2.) possible buy the cluster of you

if it's not for sale, if I can simply plug a good one in just to know for sure whether it's my cluster or something else would help so much in my diagnostics towards getting this resolved in time.

Thanks everyone !!!

Clint D.

if the engine still runs well, i would suspect the gauge cluster. alternately, if the ecu still responds to obd queries, then the ecu is probably okay.

also, your strategy to test sounds reasonable.

If you were in the east coast I would let you use mine. It sounds like your cluster is done. I've gone through 4 clusters; I'm quite experienced with them.
