Have the latest Voltphreaks batteries been pretty non-explodey?
Looking for a LiFePO4 battery for my daily-driver 2014 Evora. I actually do want the alarm system functioning for a couple weeks if I travel, so am honing in on higher-capacity models. The Voltphreaks VPH900 and VPHS40 seem to be close to what I'm looking for.
Ever since the batteries came with overcharge protection, over-discharge protection and balancing, I haven't heard of a catastrophe on this forum or others. It's been a few years now.
Any reason to think this is a bad idea?
