Safe way to pierce wires for testing

This is especially handy when, oh just for a wild example, being upside down in a tiny plastic car, and having to test voltage...without stabbing ourselves in fingers.

Simple clothespin, which offers channels for both thick and thin wires.

Excellent idea!

Might have to make a couple of those to supplement my piercing probes...

Great idea Gil, reminds me of these test clips I have, that have various spikes to penetrate different insulation.
