T/C working?

My 06 Exige is equipped with Lotus Traction Control (T/C).

The other day, I tried to press T/C button on the shifter column but
T/C telltale indicator in the instrumental panel didn't come on.
I pressed the button nearly one minutes.
Does my T/C cannot be turned off? or is it already off?

I searched the forum and someone suggested if the button is
disconnected, T/C feature automatically deleted in the ECU
program. And only Lotus dealer can fix the situation by reflashing
the ECU or something.
But as far as I remember, I never disconnect the button.

Any advice?

The TC should light after about 20 seconds. A reflash usually won't fix it, if it is disabled it may have to go to lotus hq or be seen by the factory rep.

Black Exige S / Elan M100. Don't run a smaller pulley without an upgraded fuel pump! http://www.goth.am ecu stuff.. New reflash box coming soon!

Charlie,
Thanks for your comment.

Does that mean my T/C is disabled and cannot be enabled
without getting help from Lotus cars?
Originally I was intended to disable it for AutoX then found
button didn't work.

This might sound like a stupid question, but you're pressing and holding down the button while you're stopped with the engine running, right?

It works while your moving as well. I do it at the track all the time when I forget to turn it off. I think it has to be held down for 5 seconds to de-activate traction control.

Good to know... I've always disabled it while stopped.
