2000 turns in 2 hours!

Just finished a fantastic road trip. Fort Bragg to San Francisco on new years day. At least 2000 turns in 2 hours down highway 1 along the coast. I would recommend it to anyone!

Ha! I just did a similar trip on Thursday - Went up to Humboldt Redwood state park from Santa Rosa on 101. Returned by highway 1 where it diverges from US101 in Riverdale down to Fort Bragg and then cut back in on SR128 (which is AMAZING - lots of high speed twisties, great surface, but instant death if you hit one of the thousands of redwoods lining the road). I've done highway one from Bodega Bay on down too, but it was many years ago.

This is my first real trek into northern California. I absolutely love it. Countless new fabulous roads to explore.

Is this hyperbole or are you really turning 16+ times per minute? Two hours of that sounds nightmarish..

I did Ft. Bragg to SF years ago. In a rental Plymouth. In the rain. Ugh.

It is a very long, cumbersome drive. But the view is astounding. Doing it in the Elise made it a has though!
