Another Great Canadian RoadTrip

My wife and I just completed another Canadian/US roadtrip in the Elise.

25 days.
12,184 km.
0 issues.

The trip was from Toronto to Vancouver island and back via Yellowstone park.

It will be a week or more before I start posting photos. My wife did about 85% of the driving.

Oh yes, I just passed 250,000 km on the way home.

Sounds like a great trip, waiting for those photos.

Why did the wife drive so much? Did you throw your back out putting your leg behind your head?

My wife prefers to drive 100% of the time. But I request to drive perhaps one hour per day.

Yes 155 k miles.

I'm combining photos from 3 cameras and so far there are over 3,000 photos. I'm planning to post just a few highlights so maybe I'll start posting in about 2 weeks.

We drove by Duncan a few times on our trip. We didn't see any totems though.

Next time we are out that way we'll have to drop by.

That is the longest Lotus trip I've ever heard of, and the pics are fantastic! I'v been on three approx 2,000 mile Lotus trips and never had a minute of trouble, but you win the long distance award! Any more photos?

BTW: that picture of the cows is an udder disgrace!

Yes it was a big trip. I'm currently going through my collection of photos. Between my wife and I we took nearly 4000. I'd like to get that down to about 1000 and just post a few per day to the site. I was really pleased with how the car ran, especially for a 10 year old one.

Nice humor BTW.

Both my wife and I find that the seats are very comfortable for those long drives. No issues about back pain.

The only thing I miss as a passenger is that you cannot let the seat down for a nap.

On Day 3 we travelled from Thunder Bay Ont to Winnipeg Manitoba.

About 30 years ago, Terry Fox attempted to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research. He made it about half way and then had to quit due to the spread of cancer through his body.

The Sleeping Giant formation is on a peninsula near Thunder Bay.

That's Manitoba as in Churchill, as in big white carnivores, correct? In an Elise you would be right at buffet table height for a polar bear!
