PA to STL in a type 72D Elise

I recently purchased a 2007 Lotus Elise Type 72d and I have shared my story about my drive half-way across the country on my wife's travel blog. Check it out at:

Nice buy (and great story). I know because I know the car and its previous owner and was involved (as an advisor) in its original purchase.

You may be interested to know that the car that replaced it was another Lotus. An Investor Edition Esprit.

The PO BTW is happy the car went to a good home.

Thanks guys for the comments. Yeah, it was funny to find that the guy I bought the car from also sold a Lotus and than bought a Porsche from people in St. Louis. I look forward to meeting other Lotus owners, knowing that there aren't too many in the St. Louis area.

Actually, there is a local Lotus Club in St Louis - STALLS

I wouldn't bet on that. Lotus Talk is only a small microcosm of the Lotus world.

I knew about STALLS and I plan on registering. I would still say that the Lotus to Mustang/Camaro factor in the St. Louis is pretty tiny.
