Tuesday is my birthday and I want to gift me a ride to Big Sur!

Ok, I am taking Tuesday off to celebrate my birthday (it is an important one!) and I want to drive my Elise with my wife to Big Sur!

I would like to ask for some suggestions about great roads and places to visit while in the area.

Thanks!

The only real back road in the area is Carmel Valley Road. If you have time at the end of the day, it’s a good way to catch Highway 101 (and a very fun road).

Stuff to do, 17 Mile drive, Point Lobos, Carmel, and Monterey… besides Big Sur. Which is a bit much to take in, if you’re driving down for the day?

Visit Pfieffer Beach if you get the chance. One of my favorites.

a coffee stop and walk around ragged point inn, hotel or whatever its called (al lthe way south) is allways nice - assuming its not cloudy and you can see.

everything and anything is amazing around there!!

"I really started paying attention to cars was when they came out with the Nissan Z, the first body. Then I seen the Cherokees, the old square ones, and I was like, “Wow, that’s cool.” Then I seen the Isuzu jeeps and I seen the Wranglers."
