Great meeting you today at Laguna Seca! Please keep posting updates from your trip to motivate the rest of us :-)

Perhaps we will talk more at the GGLC event later this week. Lots of great lotus people in the area.

I was thinking on my way home that Lotus should be sponsoring your trip. I don't think there is a better way to advertise a brand than having such a nice person drive around and talk to people about his car and trip.

ROFL Now THERE'S an idea !!!!

"I was thinking on my way home that Lotus should be sponsoring your trip." Stelios, please feel free to write them a letter suggesting such a great idea to them !! The address is Lotus Cars, Hethel, UK !!!!

Actually, they do know about the trip, but so far I have seen no positive adjustment to my bank statement !! But I might send them a pic of the Evora and my car between turns 8 and 8a, and see if that impresses them any more !!

Today was a bit of a let down weather wise, but the drive up through Half Moon Bay was equally impressive !!

HEY! I saw you on the Golden Gate bridge today. Your car looks awesome! though I have to say it is always a treat to see a nicely set-up S1 in the states.

I was coming southbound in my silver Exige just before 5pm. I live up in Marin, so if you are in the area for any amount of time, PM me, I'd be happy to meet you, learn of your travels, and check out the car, as well as offer a wrench or jack if needed.

For me also - never put my top on unless it is bucketting down !! Who would have thought this is California with all this rain !!!!

Not been pulled over yet but been chased home one night and when he found I was doing right on 55, he peeled off and went to look for other prey !! (I had a spotter 3 cars back who telephoned the guy in front of me and said "Someone coming up quickly behind you " !!!) Had a lot of looks from cars with Stars on the side, but no "direct contact" yet !! Rofl

Will do. Mid April sometime. They don't like it to sit in a rolled up condition, so ship it just before it needs to be applied so it can be unrolled immediately it is received.

Giles,

Was reading your blog and saw you like hiking. If you come via I-70 through Glenwood Springs you need to do the Hanging Lake hike.

Hiking in Colorado - Hanging Lake / Spouting Rock

Hanging Lake, Hiking, Glenwood Springs, CO

or general hikes....

Also, if you want we can, weather permitting, do a Lotus run up to Pikes Peak (down by Colorado Springs so it would be close for you).

A fun drive, and once a year they hold a hill climb there.
