It's good to see the tech has finally been released to consumers. I remember seeing an early version of this 15 years ago on Top Gear or Fifth Gear, or one of those other British car shows. This tech came about as a refinement of noise cancellation technology that reduces noise inside the cabin. One of the engineers set it to "Jetsons" and it was hilarious. I loved it.
That it's just coming out as a consumer option 15 years later sounds (no pun intended) as if maybe they did have other priorities and that this was a slow burn or spare time project.
