I like how the Copart description said that the reason for the auction is "normal wear and tear".

Looks like the auction is over now

What's sad is that someone will come home from work and tell there spouse, "you're not gonna believe what I saw on the highway. A yellow Ferrari. "

The only thing wrong those pictures is that the Ferrari badge on the hood is three times too small.

Exactly! 'No subtlety went into the making of this vehicle!'

A couple of years ago, I saw a kit-car (to be charitable) version of a Lamborghini Countach. I don't know what it was built on , but the various dimensions were all wrong, and it was completely obvious that this was a cheap not-even-copy - more like a caricature. The crowning glory was, painted across the lower portion (too big to fit on what would be 'rocker panels') were nearly foot-tall letters saying -

COUNTACH

The lettering barely fit between the wheelwells. (At last they spelled it right.) I guess if they had put 'Lamborghini' on it, it would have wrapped onto the other side.

Oh, and it was parked (some would say 'abandoned') right in front of the entrance to the grocery store entrance. Seems the owner figured a cop would not mess with such a fine exotic.

Should have got the sawsall out and cut a hole through the trunk so you could see that cherry V4 all the time!

I love the plastic big-wheel hood that he used to cover the tiny engine up with. The emblem then adds just the right amount of class!
