Went in a different direction

Weve had sports cars, trucks, and fun dailys. Im honestly not really sure what happened but we now have a new sort of motoring experience in our garage.

Power delivery soooo smooth. Very surprisingly agile for 5200 lbs (not sure how they are so heavy). Even with 600 + hp, it does not throw you back in the seat. It just swooshs up to speed. Top end over 200, might be the fastest four seater out there.

Every time I get in I find yet another thoughful nicety. This car is very intelligently done. Can tell they have been providing cars to the discriminating for a good while.

Every car I have ever had led me to believe we should try to arrive three seconds sooner. This car says “life is good, why hurry?”

Sure maintenance will be frightful and all that. But it’s a new adventure. Life is short.

Anyone can make something complicated. It takes genius to make it simple. Einstein.

I am in town that weekend, where/when is it?

Need to bring the Elise out so that people can be warned of what can happen when you begin putting performance mods on your nice street car.

Just one innocent trip to the track, and then shopping for a tow vehicle.

“I’ll just put on a cat back exhaust and stop right there”

Then a supercharger, headers, decat, 2ubular. Etc etc etc

Down at Wrightsville Beach for a Tennis tournament. Rained out today so time for a few pictures.

Met another Continental, we were only cars on that road at the time. Pretty cool

These have always been among my favorite cars. I always break into smile when I see one.

Gorgeous design. Great color.

We had the our local British car show a few weeks back and I saw this Continental. I was like WTF (yes, that's a bullet hole sticker like you see on suuuuper ghetto cars).

Drives a Prius (clearly knows nothing about cars).

I guess I need to check Amazon for some straightaway.

Seriously, never had a better six hour drive than when we have done this Asheville to Wilmington trip. It really feels easier as you go. And don’t feel so hurried or bored. Already have arrived somewhere nice when you start out.

Awesome car! Nothing wrong with a big W12 and something more on the comfortable side. When you put your foot in it that car pulls hard.
