The seat looks awesome! Are you going to weigh them when they come in?

** save ~10 lbs gain 1 hp ** EQ: Y=(190*X) / (1984-X) where Y is (HP) and X is (lbs)

Oh of course, I weigh everything on the same shipping scale I've had for years.

Got the seats today, took the passenger side out, took the rail off and weighed them against the carbon fiber ones, and was very surprised.

Standard Exige composite Probax seat: 15.7 lbs
Exige V6 carbon fiber seat: 10.4 lbs

So just 5.3 lbs savings per side, but you can definitely feel it.

I will also say the rail on the passenger's side seems very heavy at 4.9 lbs. I'll weigh the driver's side tomorrow and post some pix as well.

Got the passenger side seat in last night so I could finally sit in it. Yeah, wow, hard as a rock, much harder than the standard Exige Probax seat, just less padding. Lotus also makes this seat without the leather, and even thinner padding so you can be even more uncomfortable . That seat is 8.6 lbs total and pretty damn ugly!

First picture is the lightest variant of the V6 Cup carbon seat. Second picture is mine.

At long last, rear BBK is on, and it's as beautiful as I always knew it would be. I'll install the factory e-brake in a few weeks, until I end up replacing it with something much lighter. But for now, I'm happy!
