Serial Number Build Number and Build Date

I purchased a 2007 Exige S from LOA about a month ago. I checked the serial number and maintenance records for any issues and everything checked out fine. My questions are:

1) How do I find the build date..?
2) How do I find the chassis number..?
3) What is the build number and how many were built..?
4) Any recall information for this make/model..?

The serial number is SCCVC11167HL81065

Any help would be appreciated…

The part in bold is your chassis number. Check the door jamb for a sticker. It will tell you the month and year of build, but I'm not sure about the exact date.

the1sen: why move forward with design when you can recreate a monstrosity from the past?
FIL: Have you ever heard of a threesome? I know its her sister, but they are Swedish. That $hit is totally accepted over there.

That is a question I have as well, since my S260 plans got flushed by the economic toilet, I am considering an '07 Exige S for next year instead and want to know myself.

If no one posts to this thread soon, I will e-mail the Abe and find out.

you will find the UK recalls on http://www.vosa.gov.uk/vosa/apps/rec...hes/search.asp but a word of caution. the government here is a byword in inefficiency so I found US recalls for my bike which werent duplicated in the UK database until I asked them why they werent. So there may be US recalls that arent listed

The tag on my seat belt has an exact date on it. While door jam says 1/05, the seat belt wasn't manufactured until the latter part of the month so I conclude that my car must have been built the last week of January '05.
