Need to rent an open car trailer in Northern VA/DC area.

Would anyone be interested in renting me their open car trailer from Wed. Jan. 30th-Tues. Feb. 12th? Ė I am not really interested in renting with U-haul. I have ordered a trailer, but it will not be delivered until the end of February. I am located in Northern VA/DC area. PM me if possible.

U-Haul is about $50/day but that is not the issue. I am concern about the front lip of the Exige. It is much lower than the Elise.

I was not looking for a free loaner. I have to pay U-Haul about $650.00 for 10-11 days so I was going to offer 1K if someone was willing to rent me a nice open trailer. An open trailer is about 3-6K, so I am not sure why you would think that is so crazy to rent it out and make some money on something that usually sits on a driveway and gets used once in a while. I have a trailer on order https://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f161...8/#post1840295 but it will not be ready until next month.

In any case, I went to U-Haul and did some measuring. If I make some blocks with double thinness, with an angle at one side, then I can raise the ramps and the end section. This way the car will be high enough that the front lip will not hit any part of the trailer.

No none at all. The car sits high on the U-Haul.
