No big deal. We make a 14 hour drive at least once a winter to ski, sometimes towing stuff. I enjoy it. Staying alert (awake) is the key. Extensive testing has revealed that jaw movement helps the most... so 1) interesting discussion with passenger if you can 2) Chew gum 3) Sunflower seeds. I also chew ice, but not everyone likes that. With these activities, I can drive 20+ hours. When alone, just stop and sleep if you need to.
For your trip, i would be so jazzed on adrenaline that I could do it in a pedal car.... 6000 pounds...pffft.
Have a safe trip!!
