Who needs a car transported East to West?

I'm renting a truck, 24' most likely, to drive out to Vegas from Philadelphia to pick up my car and some equipment. I'll have an empty truck going out. Was looking to get $1000 for an enclosed transport from East to West Coast- preferably closer to Phila. or Vegas. That would cover the gas and thats it one way. I'll need a dock at your end or I have a few at Nellis AFB in Vegas if you want to meet me there. I would be looking for half up front the other half on delivery. Would prefer a smaller car and I can also take motorcycles either way.

I was planning to head within the next two weeks, or more specifically the end of July or beginning of August.

Wouldnt it be less expensive and less time consuming for you to fly out to Vegas and do a one way rental on the truck?

Keep in mind that if you are using Uhaul or Ryder, the last time I rented from them, there was a clause saying you could not put a car in the truck. It voided all the insurance on the truck.

Just thought you might like to check on it.

One way rental fees are close to $2000 and another $1k in gas and tolls which I was trying to avoid and a local one way through Penske was $160 with unlimited miles. A local one way rental but driving round trip would have saved a bunch. If you go just local they all charge for miles. I will be in Tx and Ca in a few weeks so I might just eat the extra cost, cut my trip in half, and do a one way from Vegas back to Pa. Was just interested in helping another member out with a decent enclosed rate but I wasn't too sure on the insurance through Penske. My car is apart so I can't hire a truck.
