Exclamation RARE - MINI John Cooper Works Coupe

For sale is a 2012 MINI John Cooper Works Coupe. This is a super rare car that MINI produced from 2012-2015 with only about 1,000 of them in the US. The car is turbocharged and has around 215 horsepower and weighs in at only about 2700lbs and does 0-60 in about 6.1 seconds. Ive only ever seen 1 other JCW Coupe in person. I attend MINI club events where over 400 MINIs attend from all around New York and this is the only of its kind to attend. The car is a blast to drive but also surprisingly practical. Its still a hatch back so there is a lot of luggage room and I can get around 30mpg.

Options on the car include:
Pepper white exterior with red roof
Sport stripes
Challenge leather (black with red piping)
John Cooper Works leather steering wheel (thicker than stock feels amazing)
John Cooper Works Shift knob (carbon fiber)
John Cooper Works E-Brake handle (carbon fiber)
John Cooper Works Brembo brakes
John Cooper Works Sport suspension (firmer ride, lowers car by about .5 inch)
Chili Red accents (dash and door rings)
Chrome line interior
MINI Connect package (in-dash entertainment)
Cold weather package (heated seats, mirrors and washer jets)
Automatic climate control
Xenon headlights
Comfort bluetooth
Blackout trim (headlight rings, door handles, tail light rings)
Center arm rest
Harmon-Kardon sound system.
Outmotoring stubby antenna

The only reason Iím selling the car is because I am looking to purchase a Lotus Elise.

With all of the options the price was around $40,000 new. The car currently only has 60,000 miles as I just drive it on weekends and store it for the winter. I am asking $16,500.

is this still for sale? and if so, is there a price reduction?

Never realized these were so scarce. The manager at a property we do work for drives a red JCW Coupe. I personally do not like the coupes at all, but I could appreciate that she at least went all the way by getting the JCW! Haha
Definitely the one to get, if you're into them.
