Circlip for Esprit rear gas strut

Going to replace the old struts and discovered I only have three so I'm in need of one circlip that holds the end mechanism of the gas struts of the engine cover. '97 Esprit

Needle in haystack / miscellaneous

no Gator or JAE or Bean ..not sure who else to contact, so I'm posting my need here.

Yeah, post a picture.

Is this circlip part of the ball/socket for the strut? Or are you talking about the electrical contact 'spade' terminal on each end (that would connect the heated rear screen and the hatch mounted CHMSL)?

Have you tried taking a strut to an auto parts store? It's not an unique part by any means.

Yup. I think I'll fabricate one from a small gas line clamp
