Which GM ECU binaries is the Lotus binary derived from

I'm trying to understand some of the maps in more detail, and disassembling the binary. I realize now I can't be the first to try this.

Is anyone willing to share any previous work here?

Also, do we know what GM code base is closest to the Esprit variant? Date wise it looks like GM version "$58A" from a turbo 4 sunbird might be close.

I found this description which appears to be the original GM SW design spec. It covers everything except for the boost controller.

I dont think i'll be of direct help, but I am at least curious.. what car, ecu and microcontroller is involved here?

I wonder if any of the behaviors of the elise ecu stem from esprit ecu code.
