K&N Air Intakes

The K&N website says they don't make an air intake to fit a 2002 Esprit. Is this a good idea. Any other companies that anyone has had good luck with? Just put deposit down on my first Esprit today and will pick it up Tues or Wed. next week.

K&N does not make an intake but they do make a panel air filter for the Esprit. JAE can get it for you.

Save your money. For the cost of the K & N's (you need 2) you will not notice any improvement in performance. The only possible benefit you *might* get is that you can clean and reuse the filters. If you drive your Esprit enough to have to clean them more than twice maybe you will save some money. I will go for the piece-of-mind of having a new filter installed when I need one. BTW, if you have your car serviced by someone, (not you) they might not even realize you have K & N's in there and throw them away!

You can buy them direct from K&N for a fraction of what JAE will charge you.
