I believe this transaxle is in the $12k-$14k range depending on the options. At the time I purchased mine it was in the $10k range. I don't think is would be a good candidate for the Esprit. It was designed for off road use. It is only a 4 speed and noisy. The shock loads that this transaxle can take is amazing. It is a excellent transaxle for off road use.
