Passengers in your Esprit

I had many passengers, but this one was different.

On my way from the British Car Union Show I swung by a small town on the Indiana border and picked up this young passenger.

He had no name and no home...

I decided to give him both!

He is a legit Bernese Mountain Dog/ Poodle pup, 15 weeks old, came from a breeder, last of the litter of 7.
His new name is Ziggy.

Strays?
Well... sometimes I pick up a stray hitchhiker, but they have to look at least like this one.

Is that why you Americans have the wider "comfort" seats in your Esprits?

Anyway, keep your eyes focused on the road, Sir

Cheers,

No, but when I felt hungry for a bit of sandwich, once again the Esprit came in handy as a toaster:

Well, I can say that IT didn't work in an X 1/9 (very similar interior dimensions to an Elise) without the top off. With the top removed (and in the passenger seat) IT went just fine.

That keg looks like it would be rough on the seat. Good to see the Lotus being used like a car, though.

Let me guess, she had no name and no home so you took her home gave her both and a bath. Do you keep a blanket in the car for strays?

The passenger seats in my +2, M100, and Seven have more miles with a Doberman than any other passenger

Cripes - is my 87 equipped with narrow European seats? That explain why my fat a** (bum to rest of the crowd) hurts on any longer drive than 45 mins.

"Can I please get the FA-option for my Esprit seats? Thanks!".

Seriously - my late 88 had flatter seats than my 87 - those 88 seats were a bit more forgiving with a flatter transition to the side bolsters.
