A quick update:

Sailorbob (Derek) is working on the final drawing and once we have that detailed, i will get the final pricing for manufacture set.

It looks like the 1" thick spacer is what the majority want.

Group buy CLOSED

Sailorbob (Derek) has updated and detailed the drawings. I have added them below for your enjoyment, The outer shape closely follows the actual plenum, NOT the gasket. The bumps are all there and should look great when mounted. The design also includes a hole to put a roll pin between the spacer and the plenum itself. If you decide to drill and pin (this is NOT required) the parts will remain precisely together when mounted and not be shifting around, as you lean over the side, start a few screws and then tighten.
The cost for each spacer is $134.00 each. I have investigated shipping and USPS shipping works out the best option. The cost to ship to your home is $18.75 (unless it's out of the USA), even if you have ordered 2 pieces. Paypal will charge me $4.90 per transaction, I know it's robbery....

So here is the cost to you:
$134.00 + $18.75 + $4.90 = $157.65 Once all payments are in and the order is placed, it should take about 23 days to produce the parts.

Any questions???

What's the hot tip on spray paint to match, without having to respray the entire intake system?

Ordered my gaskets from RD Enterprises. $23.40 x 2. I'm sure JAE has them as well. I'm sure the 30-odd gaskets this group needs will consume the inventory!

So, if I am going to use TWO of the spacers what gaskets do I need to get? As I understand it would be:

2x - A910E1475F - plenum cover to plenum backplate gasket
1x - A910E1474F - diffuser to plenum backplate gasket

Correct?

Guesses on when will ship?

If you are using two spacers then you will need 3x A910E1475F plenum cover to plenum backplate gaskets.

My total with shipping was $54.50. I told Ray I was not in any hurry so he used the postal service. I'm not trying to direct business there, both Ray and JAE are good guys. I'm just guessing that this group buy will suck up all the inventory, not sure how long it will take them to get more.

Not to dissuade any support of our vendors, but couldn't you trace around the spacer on a sheet of gasket material quicker/cheaper than $55? Just a thought if some are looking at stacking spacers and/or waiting for stock to run out....

We have 4 folks that wanted to buy that have not paid as of tonight. Redfox was sent wire transfer details, so I'm sure I will see something come through this week. How long should we wait before ordering?????

Absent those 4 sending the $ in, are there enough who have paid to get the pricing done?

If so, and having done a couple or so GB's in the past;
PM/email them and post a date in this thread after which they are out or ?

i.e. give them time but do not hold up those who paid in getting the parts too much.

We are down to 3 as of this morning which puts us at the quoted manufacture price. I will send a PM to those that are still open on the list.
